Last Sunday I wore my Giant baseball jersey to worship (a Father’s Day custom in the congregation I’m serving as an interim/bridge/transitional pastor). I was asked how a boy from central Illinois became a Giant fan. I replied, “Two words; Willie Mays.” (Plus my best friend was a Dodger fan.)
Well, with a new bag packed Willie started on a new journey. Rest In Peace, Willie.

Thank you, Jeff. We are well. Miss the leadership & wisdom that you brought to the table. I’m currently providing pastoral leadership to a UCC church in Morton. They had about 20 years of challenging pastoral leadership. As I’ve said to my wife, if they didn’t have bad luck they’d have no luck at all😂. I’m going to try to be more regular in writing my glimpses. I’m going to this years General Assembly at the end of the month. Take care. Frosty
